What inspires you to create?

I think I get my inspiration from MUSIC most of the time, one line in a song can make me immediately think of an artwork.

I also observe a lot: people, nature and spaces around me, I think this is another way of inspiration, it’s like I’m always collecting data from anything around me.

What quote do you live by?

‘ You have your way. I have my way. As for the right way, the correct way, and the only way, it does not exist.’ - Friedrich Nietzsche

' الأفكار لها اجنحة ماحدش يقدر يمنعها توصل للناس' - يوسف شاهين

What’s on the top of your bucket list?

I’d like to keep on expanding my horizon when it comes to art, I always want to achieve more, learn new mediums and techniques; I really want to start playing an instrument and discover my passion for music; and I wish I can go back to India for a self discovery-exploration kind of trip on my own as I was born there and only stayed for one year!

What brings you the greatest joy?

I feel extremely happy when I’m done with a collage or a shoot, even before I get any feedback, and of course the joy is doubled when I get positive feedback. I also love being around kids, I love how pure and spontaneous they can be.

My ‘self time’ in my cozy balcony with music and scented sticks is definitely one of the moments I enjoy the most.

What’s the last piece of art you created?

I created an analog collage that I made in an online session for kids for Orcas application, which isn’t posted yet. So stay tuned for this one!
